CUHK New Asia College - The Third Chinese Culture Experience Camp

3B Wong Siu Wing and 3B Law Tsz Hei joined the Third Chinese Culture Experience Camp organized by New Asia College, the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 15 to 17 Jul 2025. A total of 58 junior form students recommended by31 local secondary schools participated in the programme. They stepped into CUHK, learnt about New Asia College and experienced Chinese culture together.

 

Principal Wong Lee Lee and Mr. Lau Wai Yip attended the dinner on the first day of the camp, where they engaged with participants and organizers. They also took a group photo with Dr. Lee Ho Man , Associate Head of New Asia College, creating a memorable moment of connection and collaboration.

 

The three-day camp offered  a diverse and enriching program, including learning Chinese Kung Fu, Chinese martial arts, Chinese paper cutting,a guided tour of the Art Museum, chess activity, sharing from a famous Cantonese opera actress, and Chinese painting and calligraphy workshop. A highlight of the camp was a dumpling-making session, where students explored the traditions of Chinese culinary culture.

 

The camp offered students valuable insights into Chinese heritage and traditions, leaving them with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation of their cultural roots.For more details, please refer to the event report.
