Our school is dedicated to nurturing our students to pursue their life and career goals according to personal interests, aptitudes, and aspirations. The Careers Guidance Committee provides students with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude so that they are empowered to make informed and responsible decisions in managing their career and life plans with a positive attitude.
A school-based career and life planning education curriculum is implemented from S1 to S6. Various career exploration activities are organised for students to delve into their education and career opportunities. We actively organise workplace visits, engage students in work experience and career or mentorship programs, as well as training programmes offered by local universities and professional organisations. During the Careers Day, alumni from various sectors and professions are invited to share their valuable work experiences and career development.
To further broaden student's horizons in career planning, the "MST Mentorship Program" has been launched for our senior form students. Members of the MST family who have rich knowledge and experience in the workplace and professions are invited to become mentors and they are matched with students based on interests, academic pursuits and career goals. Through frequent interactions, students are guided to understand more about the workplaces and career developments and to explore their life goals and personal growth. It is expected that a long-term connection can be established between mentors and students.
Talks are also extended to parents to enrich their knowledge and strengthen their role in guiding their children in making right choices in various stages for achieving personal goals.
