Organized by the Hong Kong Dance Federation, the "Bauhinia Cup Dance Competition" and the "Bauhinia Cup International Dance Competition" are major local and international open dance competitions in Hong Kong. The events aim to promote local dance choreography and performance standards, while encouraging dancers to exchange and refine their skills across national/folk and modern dance styles. The competitions feature categories in Chinese Dance, Ballet, Contemporary Dance, and Open Divisions.

 

This year's Bauhinia Cup Dance Competition and Bauhinia Cup International Dance Competition were held on July 29 at the Yuen Long Theatre Auditorium and on August 7 at the Tuen Mun Town Hall Auditorium, respectively. Performing the piece "Ceaseless Fortitude"《未說完的溫度》, our Alumni Association Dance Troupe won the Silver Award in the Bauhinia Cup Dance Competition and the Gold Award in the Bauhinia Cup International Dance Competition under the Chinese Dance (Open Group: 16 & Above - Group Dance) category.

 

The Alumni Association hereby congratulates the Alumni Association Dance Troupe on their outstanding achievements. We also extend our gratitude to alumni across different graduating classes for coming together to carry forward the school’s dance spirit and tradition.
