Our alumna, Yim Wing Yan, has been honored with the Best Director (Comedy/Farce) award at the 34th Hong Kong Drama Awards for her work on Hollywood Big Business, produced by the theatre group Dramoxic.
On stage, Director Yim expressed heartfelt gratitude to her teachers, mentors, and creative team, while sharing an inspiring message: “Some works can only be created by our generation. Even when the world is difficult, we should not avoid challenges, but face them together.”
Yim Wing Yan graduated from City University of Hong Kong (School of Creative Media), HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education, and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (School of Drama), where she majored in directing. She has received multiple HKSAR Government Scholarships and participated in academic exchanges in London and Singapore.
We are immensely proud of her achievements and wish her continued success in the arts, inspiring young people to pursue their dreams.
