To honor the illustrious Lithuanian-Jewish soprano Nehama Lifshitz, the organizing committee, in collaboration with the Lithuanian government, the Vilnius City Hall, and local Jewish organizations, hosted the 4th Nechama Lifshitz International Vocal Competition. This prestigious event took place from October 28 to 30, 2024, in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Following a rigorous selection process, 11 young vocalists from diverse countries competed in the semifinals, with 6 advancing to the finals. They were accompanied by the esteemed Vilnius City Municipality St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, among whom was the talented alumnus Francis Ng.

Francis Ng captivated the judges with performances of Ravel's "Kaddish," Handel's "Let not fame the tidings spread," and Massenet's "En fermant les yeux," ultimately earning the championship title. Wu expressed profound gratitude for reaching the finals, noting that winning the championship was the crowning achievement of an already remarkable journey.
