Traditionally, Tai Po was an agricultural-based community. Similar to many areas in the New Territories, the history, geography and livelihood of our district are highly related to rivers. This also cultivated the identity of "Tai Po people".
29 students from F2 to F4 have conducted a field study on river management at Tin Shui Wai on 23 March. Instructed by the officials from Drainage Services Department, students have got familiar with the flood-detention works and their roles in ecological conservation, urban-rural integration and the development of local economy.
