Last school year, the Education Bureau launched a pilot scheme on“Other Languages for Junior Secondary Students”. Our school successfully applied for the scheme and received funding from the Education Bureau to offer Japanese language classes at the junior secondary level.  

To help students deepen their understanding of Japanese culture, our school collaborated with the Dai-ichi Japanese Language and Culture School to organise a summer festival “Yukata Experience” activity on 28 Jul 2026. Through this event, students had the opportunity to wear Japanese yukatas, learn about typical summer festival activities, and broaden their knowledge of related Japanese vocabulary.  

During the activity, students demonstrated strong engagement, which helped enhance their interest in learning Japanese.
