Our " Active Talent " program members participated in the ""Youth Challenge - Dream Building Together " Training Camp on July 9th and 10th. This project was fully sponsored by the Youth Adventure Training Funding Scheme (2025-27) of the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau. On the first day, the activity took place at the Hong Kong Association of Youth Development Training Centre, a historic building revitalized from the former Quarry Bay School. Under the guidance of our teachers and camp coaches, students engaged in various games to break the ice and foster team spirit. The highlight of the day was the "Wall Climb" challenge. Everyone played a unique role: some willingly served as stepping stones, some fully guarded their peers, while others pulled their teammates up with all their might. As time went on, fatigue inevitably set in, but no one gave up. Each student stood firmly by their duties, ensuring that every single teammate successfully conquered the wall.
The second day took place at the Hong Kong Army Cadets Association. Students started with a city orienteering activity, completing multiple team missions within the Kai Tak Sports Park. Next, they took on the crate stacking challenge. Some brave students pushed their limits and successfully stacked 16 crates—nearly two stories high! Finally, under the expert guidance of the instructors, students participated in the outdoor abseiling challenge. Most of them successfully abseiled down from the 4th floor to the 2nd floor, learning to conquer fear and build self-confidence. Throughout this event, our students invested immense physical effort, but they returned with even greater rewards: precious friendships, resilience, courage to face challenges, and true team spirit. It was undoubtedly an unforgettable experience.
