Yang Xin Lei, a student from Class 4B of our school, participated in the 'Hong Kong Youth Venturing into the Northeast: Deep Tour of Ice and Snow Jilin' organized by the Kowloon West Chao Ren Association from 23-31 December 2025.

During the tour, she visited Jilin and explored famous local attractions such as the North Slope of Changbai Mountain, the rime ice wonders, the Museum of Northeast Nationalities and Folk Customs, and the Museum of the Imperial Palace of Manchukuo. She also visited enterprises including the FAW Hongqi automobile factory and Chang Guang Satellite Technology. Furthermore, she experienced winter sports at the Tianding Mountain Ski Resort, immersing herself in the unique charm of the northern landscape.

These experiences allowed her to deeply appreciate the nation's powerful technological strength, greatly broadening her perspective on the country's modernization. She also gained a profound understanding of the hardships faced during the War of Resistance and the sacrifices made by our ancestors to defend the country, thereby nurturing her patriotism and expanding her international horizons.
