Bonded by Fifty Years of Affection: MST Golden Jubilee Dinner Concludes with Success
2026-02-13

Guided by the Golden Jubilee theme "In Grace We Grow, with Strength We Soar", our School proudly hosted its Golden Jubilee Dinner on 13 February 2026, commemorating fifty years of legacy with a grand reunion of 63 tables. The evening was vibrant with laughter, gratitude, and heartfelt embraces, as alumni, staff, and guests gathered to honor the school’s journey. Distinguished attendees included current and former members of the Incorporated Management Committee, pastors, principals, teachers, staff, PTA chairpersons and representatives from Tai Po Anglican service units. Particularly moving was the presence of Bishop Mok Sau Tseng’s descendants, former teachers, and alumni who travelled from overseas, rekindling bonds that time and distance could not diminish.

The ceremony began with addresses from School Supervisor Ms. Wong Tsz Mei, and Principal Ms. Wong Lee Lee, who expressed deep gratitude to supporters and shared aspirations for the school’s flourishing future. Founding Principal Mr. Poon Chun Kau and Second Principal Dr. Anissa Chan Wong Lai Kuen reminisced about milestones and praised the nurturing spirit of MST, while messages from former principals Mr. Kam Chi Fun and Ms. Deborah Meech enriched the chorus of blessings. A nostalgic montage of photographs and campus memories stirred emotions, reminding all of the school’s enduring warmth.

The evening reached its climax with performances by alumni. The Alumni Choir sang the Golden Jubilee theme song “That Summer,” composed and arranged by alumni, while the Alumni Dance Team delivered two captivating pieces, “When the School Song Resounds” and “Galaxy River”, radiating youthful vitality and affirming the enduring bond with their alma mater. Alumni then gathered for commemorative photographs and received beautifully crafted Jubilee souvenirs, treasured as symbols of unity and affection.

The celebration concluded with joy and gratitude, a living testament to fifty years of legacy. The School extends its heartfelt gratitude to all guests for attending this historic gala dinner. May the spirit of MST be passed down through generations, as the School and all MSTeers shall strive for excellence together and continue to be salt and light in our society!
