Students Participate in the Po Leung Kuk x CITIC CLSA
2026-01-10

Our school has always been dedicated to the whole-person development and psychological well-being of our students. Recently, six of our S5 students were nominated to participate in the Community Achievement Exhibition of the "Co-sensing • Walking Together" Youth Mental Health Project, organized by the Po Leung Kuk Youth Affairs Department and sponsored by CITIC CLSA.

Participating students include 5A TSANG HEI MAN, 5A TANG KA YAU, 5A LAW HOI CHING, 5B YUEN CHEE YAN, 5D YANG YI JUN and 5D LEUNG HOI KI.

The core concept of this project is "Co-sensing • Walking Together". It aimed at addressing the increasingly prevalent emotional and mental health issues among teenagers. The project emphasizes "Co-sensing" through sensory perceptions like sight and sound, allowing youth to share experiences and memories with those around them. It also advocates the importance of "Walking Together," encouraging family members, teachers, and peers to become companions to one another. Through simple conversations, sharing, and listening, an effective emotional support network can be built to prevent mental health issues at an early stage.

Our students participated actively in the event. Through diverse experiential activities, they gained a deeper understanding of how to express care verbally and non-verbally, and learned how to be good listeners and companions. We hope these students will bring the message of "Co-sensing and Walking Together to Guard Mental Health" back to our campus, helping not only themselves but also fostering a more caring and inclusive atmosphere within the school.
