Kick-off Ceremony of Our Mentorship Program 2023-24
2023-11-04

To help senior secondary students in broadening their horizons and exploring career planning, our Careers Guidance Committee is organizing a "Mentorship Program" for the first time this academic year. The program aims to establish connections between mentors and students. Through communication and sharing of experiences, students will be guided to understand the workplace, equip themselves with the knowledge and skills required for future careers, and explore life goals and personal growth. This program will last for one academic year. We have invited members of the MST community who have rich industry knowledge and experience in the workplace as mentors and match them with students based on their interests, academic pursuits and career goals. Mentors and mentees will participate in meetings and activities for life experience sharing and career exploration. We believe that participants will be inspired to navigate their educational journeys and personal development, and make informed decisions about their future. We are thrilled to have two members of Mok’s family (the descendants of Bishop Mok Sau Tseng) and three alumni as mentors for this year’s pilot program. They are Prof. John Mok, Mr Dominic Wu, Ms Alice Ling, Ms Amanda Lau and Mr Alex Cheung. The Kick-off Ceremony of this year’s Mentorship Program was held on November 4, 2023.
