This year, eight students from our school — 3C LI Nim Chi, 3C Xia Mandy, 4A LIU Hiu Tung, 4B YEUNG Wing Yee, 4B WONG E Lane, 4C LEE Ka Lam, 5C FUNG Chun Hei, and 5C NG Yuet — participated in the 25th “Youth Leadership Development Scheme”, organized by the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong. This year-long program is designed to foster leadership qualities through experiential learning and adventure-based activities, guiding participants toward personal growth and reflective insights.

The thematic study for this year focused on "community shops." Students selected one of Hong Kong's 18 districts as their study community and chose a local shop as their project site. They considered the needs of residents and the unique characteristics of the community to develop a "people-centered" community shop proposal.

Recently, the organizers hosted a sharing session, providing a platform for participants to exchange their findings. Our students chose "Tai O Fishing Village" as their research theme, proposing innovative ways to integrate new technologies and media with the traditional charm of the fishing village. Their vision aims to infuse sustainable development into Tai O. We are proud to announce that their report was successfully completed.
