Joint-school Stargazing
2025-05-17

In order to enhance students' interest in astronomy and enrich their experience in using astronomical instruments and stargazing, the Astronomy Club of our school and the Astronomy Club of SKH Bishop Baker Secondary School collaborated in organizing the "Joint-school Stargazing” event on 17 May 2025.

With the leadership of the committee members from both clubs, students participated in ice-breaking activities, astronomy lectures and games at our school, followed by stargazing at the Plover Cove Reservoir, Tai Mei Tuk. Students used binoculars and smart telescopes to observe various constellations, the Big Dipper and deep sky objects.

The event facilitated the exchange of astronomical activities between the schools, allowing students to apply what they learned. All students found the experience profoundly rewarding.
