Our student, 5D WONG Tin Lok, was recommended by the Extra-curricular Activities Committee to participate in the ‘Indonesia: Maritime Silk Road and Eco-cultural Journey’, organized by the Tai Po Youth Network of the Home Affairs Department, from February 19 to 24, 2025. During this trip, Tin Lok visited Bali and Komodo Island in Indonesia. He not only enjoyed ethnic performances and participated in local cultural workshops, but also toured the active Batur Volcano and had close encounters with the world's largest lizard, the Komodo dragon.
This event greatly broadened the participants' horizons, allowing them to enhance their knowledge while deepening their understanding and awareness of our country’s "Belt and Road" initiative. Furthermore, all expenses for the activity were waived, providing equal opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds to participate. Our committee encourages students to keep an eye on the activity information disseminated by the Tai Po Youth Network through our school and to actively engage in these opportunities in order to enrich learning experiences.
