Liu Tin Ho, our S6 graduate, is one of the awardees of the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme 2024.  He will pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge.  

The Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 23 August 2024.  This year, a total of 923 applicants competed for the Scholarship.  60 students were selected as the ninth cohort of awardees.  Among them, 51 will be pursuing undergraduate studies and 9 will be pursuing postgraduate studies at world-renowned universities.

First launched in 2014, the HKSES aims to support local students to pursue studies at world-renowned universities outside Hong Kong with a view to grooming a top cadre of talents with a global vision, an international network and world-class education, thereby contributing to enhancing Hong Kong's competitiveness as Asia's world city in a global knowledge economy.  The HKSES also serves as appreciation and recognition to the awardees, who will be provided with monetary reward and other non-monetary benefits. Awardees will receive a series of support, including mentorship and other opportunities, to be rendered by the Government and other sectors of the community. Since its introduction, the HKSES has benefited 930 students.
