On 27 Mar 2024, the Civic and Social Development and Chinese Language Department of our school led a group of Form Four students on a field trip to explore the Chi Lin Nunnery, allowing students to personally experience Chinese culture and traditional architectural art. Prior to the trip, students had studied traditional Chinese wooden architecture and Shanxi Jin culture in their Civic and Social Development and Chinese Language lessons. They also had the opportunity to create a model of a bracket set in class. During the field trip, the students were guided by professional tour guides to visit the Chi Lin Nunnery, Nan Lian Garden, and the Museum of Wooden Architecture. Both teachers and students benefited greatly from this experience.
