Organised by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the 20th “Hong Kong 200” Leadership Project recently concluded successfully. Our student, 5B LUI Nok Lam, was selected to participate in this highly regarded youth leadership training programme and delivered an outstanding performance in the final project. Her team’s forward-looking and practical proposal earned them the title of Second Runner-up in the “Project for Hong Kong Youth Proposal” competition, bringing honour to our school.

During the months-long training programme, Nok Lam took part in a wide range of activities, including dialogues with community leaders, practical applications of innovative technology, design-thinking workshops, and community-involvement initiatives. For the “Project for Hong Kong Youth Proposal” segment, Nok Lam and her teammates focused on the Northern Metropolis and conducted an in-depth study of the sustainable development of traditional soy sauce factories in the New Territories. By applying design thinking flexibly, they developed a targeted and pragmatic proposal for community improvement. Their project stood out among numerous competing teams and won the Second Runner-up award, demonstrating our students’ innovative abilities and commitment to serving the community.
